SPIRIT OF THE WOODS FLUTES

Instruments in the style of Native American Flutes

CUSTOM PAINTED GALLERY

All of the flutes below were painted by artist Clay Corbisier. I am honored to have collaborated with such a gifted artist as Clay. His work spoke for itself. Clay, like me, is a perfectionist. We both strived to put out only the highest quality work. Unfortunately, Clay is no longer painting flutes. He has moved on to photography and I wish him nothing but the best. I have not been able to find anyone, as of yet, to paint on my flutes. I do however offer Inlay work done in many different stones and shells. Some of my Inlay work can be seen in the other Galleries. For price quotes on Inlay designs please feel free to call me at 1-800-236-0406.

THE TRIBAL SERIES - SIOUX
This is a new concept at Spirit of the Woods Flutes. This is the first Tribal Series flute. It has designs of Sioux origin. Over the next several months we will be adding more Tribal Designs from other tribes. All designs will be created and done by artist Clay Corbisier. The flute is made from Port Orford Cedar to give it a traditional sound and feel. The Block is the Triple P made from Spalted Maple with an Amboyna Burl Lamination and a Walnut base. These flutes are concert tuned but have an old school, warm, traditional sound. If you would like a specific tribe represented please give me a call @ 541-386-1264 .

SOCKEYE SALMON FLUTE
This very special flute is the very first painted flute to be offered by Spirit of the Woods Flutes. I am honored to be working with artist Clay Corbisier. Click here to read more about Clay.
The Flute is made from 800 year old Alaskan Yellow Cedar. The Block is the Sockeye Salmon scroll cut block made from rare Pink Ivory wood with a Buckeye Burl base. The flute has a painted school of Sockeye Salmon swimming around the flute to make this instrument truly beautiful and unique. The voice is wonderful and warm.
